Waiver & Service Programs
Waiver Programs to Support Independence
There are several waiver programs to help individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/ or a developmental disability live more independently in their community.
Through the Consolidated Waiver, Person/Family Directed Support Waiver and the Community Living Waiver programs, individuals with special needs can receive employment services and support to maintain their independence and remain an active citizen in their local community. Some of the resources available include Advanced Supported Employment, Assistive Technology, Small Group Employment, Supported Employment, and Occupational therapy.
